Team work makes the Dream work in Mabopane

Tsa Pitori Presents…

Feeding the community is something that we should all do, the reward is that you know children won’t go to bed hungry, just putting a smile on a person’s face is all the reward you will ever need!

Today we look at an organisation called Life Changing Testimonies (LCT). I’m a motivational speaker and two years back I had the honour to be part of an initiation held at Tlamelong Clinic in Mabopane Block B and LCT was part of it. The organisation donated beautiful shoes to the elderly and I got a pair too.

Life Changing Testimony is an NPO based in Mabopane. The organisation was founded in 2012 but was registered in 2013. The organisation is led by five people namely Ethel Modise, Bonang Modise, Lesego  Motswaledi, Motlatsi Ledingoana and Sonnyboy Masinge.

The motivation in starting such an organisation was to raise awareness for disadvantaged people especially children at schools and old age homes by hosting events to raise funds. Their last event was a success and now the focus is on drug addicts, drug abuse; which is a huge crisis in our country and it’s destroying the lives of teenagers with a bright future ahead of them on a daily basis.

The organisation is sponsored by stores to spread more love and prosperity. Stores such as JetMart Ga-rankuwa and JetMart Mabopane are making things easier by donating goods. Recently they have been receiving stationary which will be distributed to two schools, one in Mabopane and one in Ga-rankuwa. At the moment they are using the address of the founder which cannot be mentioned due to security reasons.

The organisation needs storage, office space as well as funding if you would like to help you can contact the numbers below:

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this organisation and it was such an honour seeing the impact it’s making on the community. In closing, I plead with you to do something to assist those less fortunate, let’s go back to our African spirit where my burden is your burden. Until next time you can stay in touch with me by liking my Facebook page: The Anointed Verbal Speaker Miranda.
